Cafein began in 2015 in Northern Virginia with a shared belief in doing things thoughtfully.
What started as a simple passion for coffee has grown into a specialty shop rooted in quality, warm hospitality, and careful presentation. We believe great coffee is not only about taste, but about balance - in sourcing, roasting, service, and the space we create for our community.

We opened our roastery in Maryland with a simple goal to provide thoughtfully crafted, high-quality coffee to our community and beyond.
Having our own roastery allows us to experiment, refine, and elevate every detail in-house. With production close to us, we are able to explore seasonal offerings and bring fresh perspectives to each cup from season to season and day to day.
